Information Technology Support Engineer

Purple Rock IT Solutions is seeking a passionate and driven IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll provide enterprise-level support to our clients, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist with the installation of applications and programs. We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in both Windows and Mac environments who is eager to grow in a dynamic IT services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot issues, document solutions, and escalate when necessary.
• Support both Windows and Mac environments.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of Windows servers, virtualization platforms, cloud services, IT security, backup systems, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Work closely with clients to provide timely and effective support, both remotely and on-site when required.
• Maintain technical documentation and act as the primary point of contact for assigned support tickets.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to IT support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE (mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Exposure to virtualization, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity tools is an advantage.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, Apple, or Linux are a plus.
• Familiarity with RMM tools (e.g., Ninja) and helpdesk platforms is desirable.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel for client visits or project deployments when required.
