Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware & Infrastructure Support
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, servers, cameras, access control devices, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all IT hardware.
- Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for hardware-related issues.
2. Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Administration
- Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions in Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Provide day-to-day support for email and collaboration tools including Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint Online.
- Handle laptop setups for onboarding, including imaging, application installations, and account configurations.
3. Network & Connectivity
- Monitor and support internet and internal network connectivity.
- Liaise with service providers such as Du or Etisalat for telecom and internet services, including installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
4. IT Helpdesk & Support Operations
- Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues within the Dubai office.
- Log, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using ManageEngine ticketing system.
- Provide remote support for offsite employees when needed and escalate issues as appropriate.
5. Asset & Documentation Management
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Ensure all IT equipment is tagged and records are regularly updated.
6. General IT Operations
- Ensure secure disposal and data wiping of retired IT equipment.
- Maintain physical security of IT infrastructure (e.g., server room access).
- Train staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of IT support experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with hardware (laptops, printers, access devices, etc.).
- Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Experience using ManageEngine or similar IT service management (ITSM) tools.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/Wi-Fi/VPN).
