Looking for an IT Support Specialist to join Provident Real Estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support to real estate agents, administrative staff, and management for hardware, software, and networking issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Support mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, ensuring agents have access to the tools they need while on the go (Knox Management).
- Assist with setting up and maintaining email systems and collaboration tools (Google Workspace).
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to critical systems (e.g., property databases, document storage, email).
- Provide training and documentation to staff on how to use real estate-specific software, ensuring they can efficiently manage listings, track leads, and communicate with clients.
- Support remote office setups for real estate agents and manage cloud-based platforms (e.g., CRM, data storage, communication tools).
- Ensure all systems and applications are secure, and assist with maintaining cybersecurity measures tailored to the real estate industry (e.g., client data protection).
- Keep track of IT inventory, including computers, phones, networking equipment, and software licenses.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy system upgrades, new software, and troubleshooting solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of IT support experience, preferably within a real estate or property management setting.
- Proficiency in supporting software systems commonly used in the real estate industry.
- Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as mobile device support (iOS/Android).
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and file-sharing tools (Google Drive).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in a user-friendly manner.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
