Job Summary/Main Purpose

A project manager provides leadership as businesses move through project cycle, coordinating maintenance and enhancement efforts to bolster the existing flow of business—largely through an understanding of the business’s resources, knowledge base, and best practices.

Leads the implementation of new organizational processes, following IT strategies and Roadmaps that enable client to manage business objectives, thereby contributing to client's vision of providing a better healthcare and to be a leader in pharmaceutical sector in the region.

Main Responsibilities

• Expertly manage projects and teams.
• End-to-End SAP S/4 HANA Project implementation.
• Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to ensure all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
• Create and manage project budgets and maintain IT budgets.
• Provide guidance to management as well as internal and external stakeholders on project status.
• Assume ownership of project deliverables and day-to-day management of entire project from the beginning to end.
• Set up steering, project committee and communication with steering committee members and project sponsor.
• Monitor and review project progress and resources.
• Facilitate communication with the global team and help conflict resolution; if conflicts arise, elevate issues and seek resolution.
• Facilitate sign offs and completion of trainings within the stipulated project timelines.
• Work closely with line of business.
• Manage business deliverables, highlight and manage risk.
• Set targets for milestones, adhere to deadlines and allocate resources.
• Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
• Perform quality control on the project throughout to maintain the expected standards.
• Meet with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
• Submit project deliverables and ensure they adhere to quality standards.
• Prepare status reports by gathering, analysing, and summarizing relevant information.
• Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
• Facilitate change requests to ensure all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
• Coordinate the development of user manuals, training materials, and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
• Identify and develop new opportunities with project team.
• Obtain business acceptance of project deliverables.
• Manage business satisfaction within the project transition period.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Attributes)

Essential

• A strong background in IT Project management and industry-specific work, preferably 10+ years.
• Experience of 5+ years ERP Implementation Projects preferably SAP S/4 HANA in portfolio.
• Managed at least 2 end-to-end SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects.
• Comfort using your business’s ERP and project management software.
• 10+ years of experience managing midsize to large teams.
• Capacity to comfortably advising senior-level management.
• Able to provide a level of strategic system advice.
• Able to integrate with different and complex SAP Logistics modules.
• Experience in complex projects with multiple integrations.
• Able to create and advise on project objectives.
• Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Experienced in leading, facilitating and contributing to project workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
• Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
• A high level of written and verbal English skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office tools including Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in using and implementing Project management tool across the organizations, for different platforms.

Desirable

• PMP, Project management experience.
• SAP Activate certification.
