As an IT Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Monitoring the operation and security of all computer hardware to ensure proper functioning.
  2. Serving as the primary contact for servicing computers, printers, and related equipment.
  3. Maintaining a sufficient inventory of office and computer supplies.
  4. Keeping hardware and software logs updated according to departmental procedures.
  5. Documenting hardware configurations and inventory.
  6. Documenting telephone system configurations and all MPT lines.
  7. Understanding departmental procedures and performing related tasks.
  8. Carrying out repairs and maintenance of PCs, printers, telephones, interactive systems, key lock systems, etc.
  9. Managing user access requests and authorizations (Win2000, Email, Opera, Micros, Novell).
  10. Responding to user requests and providing adequate support.

Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

Applicants should have a degree in information technology and experience in a similar role, with proven knowledge in operating and maintaining relevant equipment. Fluency in English and the ability to troubleshoot and rectify subsystems are essential.
