Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and UC systems.
• Manage LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, firewalls, data centres, cloud environments, and network security.
• Lead cybersecurity operations including SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response, and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Oversee enterprise telephony systems including PBX, SIP trunking, VoIP, and UC platforms.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects, disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology upgrades.
• Lead technical teams, manage vendors and budgets, ensuring service availability and efficient operations.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide technical recommendations and strategic IT plans.

Job description

We are partnering with a leading, well-established organisation in Dubai to recruit an experienced IT Manager to support its enterprise-wide technology operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity functions.

This is a senior technical leadership position reporting directly to the Group Head of IT, requiring a strong combination of hands‑on technical expertise, people management, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and unified communications.
• Manage and optimise LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, firewalls, data centres, cloud environments, and network security.
• Lead cybersecurity operations, including SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, incident response, and ISO 27001 compliance.
• Oversee enterprise telephony systems, including PBX, SIP trunking, VoIP, and unified communications platforms.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects, disaster recovery, business continuity, and technology upgrades.
• Lead technical teams, manage vendors and budgets, and ensure operational efficiency and service availability.
• Work closely with senior management to provide technical recommendations, strategic guidance, and infrastructure improvement plans.

Candidate Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with proven experience in IT infrastructure and technical team management.
• Strong hands‑on expertise across cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and telephony.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking, Fortinet/Palo Alto firewalls, SIEM, EDR/XDR, and enterprise security technologies.
• Practical experience with PBX, SIP trunking, VoIP, and unified communications.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, IT governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP/CISM, CCNP/CCIE, and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor.
• Proven ability to manage technical teams, vendors, budgets, and complex IT infrastructure projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with senior leadership.
• UAE experience is highly desirable.

Who We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in technically strong IT leaders who have progressed from hands‑on infrastructure, networking, or cybersecurity roles into management positions.

This is not a purely strategic IT management or service delivery role. The successful candidate must demonstrate genuine technical depth across cybersecurity, networking, and telephony while being capable of operating as the Group Head of IT's second‑in‑command.
