We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Information Technology Application Manager with our esteemed client in UAE.

Role: Information Technology Application Manager

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Experience: 15+ Years

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 12 Months & extendable

Preferred Language: Native Arabic

Ideal Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Computer science, computer programming, or a related field and minimum 15 years of experience in computer systems administration work; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Managing a team of at least six members in application development, implementation or management.
• A minimum of five years of demonstrated competency in a junior or assistant project management role involving the execution of multiple projects or a large project preferably in Human Resource
• Three or more years of BU or BU-facing experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
• Minimum five years of design and implementation experience in IT, with a deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following (or similar) technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, application development, application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, servers and storage, database management and operations, clustering technologies, virtualization, cloud technologies and Active Directory and protocols
• Three to six years’ experience in application development
• Two plus years Microsoft SQL server experience.
• Previous development and/or administrative experience with with .NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript experience
• Strong background in most of the following: Python, C#.NET, XML, usability, Content Management, technical writing; intermediate background in the following: W3C Compliance, 508 Compliance, quality assurance.
• Familiarity with the following technologies: IIS, relational databases, MS Entra ID, Web Services, FTP, VNC, AI Foundry, Facebook, Twitter.
• Understanding of system development life cycle methodologies (e.g., waterfall, spiral,agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize, and DevOps)
