Job Purpose:

As an Information Security Trainee, you will assist the Service Delivery teams on various tasks to gain experience in the field of Cyber Security.

Job Responsibilities

• Learn all aspects of Cyber Security solution portfolio lifecycles.
• Assist in Post Sales and Solution Design support for Cyber Security to Sales and Solutions teams.
• Stay updated on trends in the Cyber Security marketplace to ensure the solutions remain competitive.
• Assist in designing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents to streamline implementation as per customer expectations.
• Provide onsite/remote support services to ARC Clients across UAE and other countries.
• Maintain and grow existing Cyber Security Vendor certifications.
• Assist in developing, documenting, designing, implementing, and testing security products for clients alongside senior engineers.
• Review logs and metrics for signs of cyber threats or attacks and escalate as necessary.
• Take initiative, negotiate with project management, and execute plans successfully.
• Handle sensitive information with appropriate discretion.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• University Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline.

Certifications

• Any basic Cyber Security certifications.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of ICT Solutions and Services environment, specifically in Cyber Security.
• Understanding of the OSI model, ports, and services; advantageous if familiar with networking fundamentals.
• Experience with TCP/IP stack and networking protocols is a plus.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, protocols, and application behaviors related to security.
• Knowledge of attack and defense techniques in information systems.
• Awareness of current cybersecurity trends, attack types, and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Endpoint, Network, and OS device security.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
• Experience with command-line tools, shell, and scripting.
• Excellent customer interaction, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• UAE Driving License and own vehicle.
• Knowledge of common security solutions and standards.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
