Job summary

Gulf Job Hire is seeking an Inflight Catering Coordinator to link flight schedules with the kitchen and operations. You will coordinate catering orders, check meal counts and labels, and ensure meals leave the kitchen accurately, safely and on time.

The role requires experience in airline catering or hospitality, knowledge of food hygiene, strong teamwork and English communication, and the ability to work rotating shifts in a fast-paced environment on-site at our Dubai operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in airline catering, food operations or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and careful handling procedures.
• Strong coordination, accuracy and teamwork skills.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, email).
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid UAE visa status, or willingness to be sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering orders and flight schedules with operations teams.
• Track flight changes and update catering requirements.
• Communicate order amendments to kitchen, packing and dispatch teams.
• Check meal counts, labels, packing standards and delivery documentation before dispatch.
• Verify special meals against passenger and airline requests.
• Keep accurate records of orders, shortages, substitutions and delivery confirmations.
• Monitor hygiene, food safety and service quality procedures on the production floor.
• Make sure food temperature, handling, storage and labelling follow standards.
• Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Confirm onboard service requirements and coordinate with loading/dispatch teams.
• Write clear shift handover notes.
• Escalate delays, shortages and service issues to supervisor or operations manager.
