A manufacturing company in Dubai seeks a dedicated maintenance professional to handle various equipment repairs and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment and strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and connect with PLCs for programming. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility for shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical background with experience in production industries preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience working in a production/industrial plant.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend written material.

Overview

Candidate should have experience and working knowledge of mechanical pneumatic hydraulic electrical and welding equipment. Candidate should have experience and working knowledge of Overhead cranes maintenance with different capacities. Perform general maintenance of warehouse equipment may include troubleshooting (Conveyors Motors Air Compressors Pneumatic Devices Compactors Power Equipment Printers) machine tools pumps bearings blowers fans gearboxes air handlers and other equipment as required. Ability to connect to PLCs using the maintenance PC system and do basic programming and troubleshooting. Maintaining repairing troubleshooting all machinery and equipment. Perform precision maintenance on automated robotic equipment includes preventive maintenance general upkeep and daily cleanings Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication cleaning filter changes alignments. Ability to diagnose problems for facility and production equipment and make needed repairs and the ability to install new equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and facility equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production and facilities equipment during machine service. Ability to work across all two shifts weekends and holidays as required to accomplish facility and production related tasks. Diagnosing mechanical problems and determine how to correct them checking blueprints repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary and repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment. Providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders troubleshooting and providing preventive maintenance on the production equipment and systems in a large industrial environment. Day to day coverage of production equipment in assigned area complete scheduled PMs respond to alarms solve equipment breakdowns and fulfill production requests efficiently to minimize downtime.

  • Maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting all machinery and equipment.

Qualifications
  • Strong technical background with experience in production industries preferred.
  • Minimum of 35 years of related experience working in a Post Production/industrial plant.
  • Electrician license or 2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred.
  • Ability to learn nomenclature of all assigned equipment products and quality standards.
  • Ability to learn to identify product defects.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend written material.
