Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced compliance professional to own the compliance function within a growing commodities trading business in Abu Dhabi. You will partner with trading, procurement, finance, risk and operations to identify risks and ensure frameworks support commercial objectives.

This role requires a commercially minded, autonomous leader who can provide practical guidance, implement effective controls, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across international markets,

Qualifications

• Proven compliance leadership in commodity trading or international markets.
• Strong understanding of corporate compliance and third‑party risk.
• Ability to work autonomously with proactive advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary compliance lead with independence.
• Provide practical guidance across trading, procurement, finance and operations.
• Identify and assess compliance risks, implement controls and solutions.
• Support international trading activities, including travel.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and provide proactive compliance advice.
