Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a strategic Vice President – Compliance to lead the organization’s compliance framework, policies, and regulatory requirements in the UAE. You will strengthen standards, monitor developments, and guide senior management on compliance and emerging risks.

In collaboration with legal, risk management, finance, operations, and other functions, you will design controls, oversee investigations, and develop training programs while ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
• Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business processes.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or relevant compliance and risk management systems.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management, regulators, auditors, legal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as CAMS, CCEP, CRCM, ICA, or relevant compliance qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the organization's compliance framework, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
• Provide guidance to senior management on compliance matters and emerging risks.
• Oversee compliance monitoring, risk assessments, internal reviews, investigations, and reporting.
• Collaborate with legal, risk management, finance, operations, and other functions to address gaps.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs.
• Escalate significant compliance matters as needed.
• Communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to senior stakeholders.
