Job summary

Fime seeks an AVM Supervisor to provide independent design assurance and implementation oversight for Abu Dhabi's AVM project. You will review real-time tracking, OBC, APC, RTPI interfaces, and ensure readiness for go-live, reporting to the Centre.

Requires minimum 7 years in AVM/CAD-AVL, international experience, and proven oversight of contractor delivery. GCC/Middle East exposure and English proficiency are preferred for stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of international and/or local AVM/CAD-AVL experience.
• International AVM implementation experience is mandatory.
• At least one reference project involving AVM, CAD/AVL, OCC, fleet control, dispatch, on-board systems, RTPI, APC, driver communications, or depot systems.

Responsibilities

• Review AVM design covering real-time vehicle tracking, dispatch, headway management, and incident handling.
• Review on-board architecture: OBC, driver console, APC, PIS and AVM interfaces.
• Review OCC/Backup OCC, TMC and depot designs, including workstations and video-wall integration.
• Review DIVA integration and AVM interfaces (SIRI/GTFS/ITxPT).
• Review AVM KPI design and data latency considerations.
• Supervise installation and verify vehicle-fitment quality across bus types.
• Verify device serials, SIM allocation, network configuration and interop.
• Supervise OCC/TMC/depot implementation and commissioning activities.
• Verify AVM test coverage across FAT, SIT, SAT, UAT and witnesses.
• Witness test events and monitor defect triage and closure.
• Contribute to Go-Live readiness assessments and hypercare monitoring.
• Contribute to PMS progress reporting and RAID Interface Register.
