Job summary

Smart Vision School in Dubai is seeking a Teaching Assistant and Bus Attendant to support students' learning, wellbeing, and safety throughout the school day.

You will work with teachers to provide classroom support, assist Students of Determination and ELL learners, supervise bus transport, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment aligned with KHDA expectations.

This role requires patience, strong communication, and a collaborative approach with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and supporting classroom activities.
• Provide individual or small-group support to students who need additional help with learning.
• Support Students of Determination, ELL learners, and students with diverse learning needs.
• Help prepare and organise learning materials and classroom resources.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and positive learning habits.
• Supervise students during class activities, break times, and school events when required.
• Promote positive behaviour, respect, and inclusion in line with school policies.
• Support students’ social and emotional wellbeing through encouragement and guidance.
• Maintain accurate bus attendance records.
• Assist younger students with seat belts and safe seating arrangements.
• Communicate respectfully with drivers, school staff, and parents where necessary.
