Job summary

GEMS Wesgreen International School in Sharjah is seeking an Inclusion Teacher to join our forward-thinking team with an immediate start. We educate nearly 4,000 students from EYFS to Year 13 within a British curriculum framework and a globally connected GEMS Education network.

Qualifications

• B.Ed. or Bachelor's with PGCE/PGDE in Inclusion, Special Educational Needs or related field.
• At least 1 year teaching experience in Inclusion/SEN settings.
• Experience supporting students with diverse learning needs in a mainstream school.
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, parents and other professionals.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and ongoing professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inclusive lessons that meet individual learner needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support learner progress.
• Contribute to planning, assessment and personalised learning approaches for SEN students.

Skills

• A B.Ed. or a Bachelor's degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, specialising in Inclusion, Special Educational Needs, Special Education or a related field
• A minimum of 1 year's teaching experience in an Inclusion, Special Educational Needs or Special Education setting
• Experience supporting students with a range of additional learning needs within a mainstream school environment
• Experience teaching the National Curriculum for England
• A passion for delivering engaging, innovative and inclusive learning experiences that meet the individual needs of all students
