Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting an inclusive learning environment, supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement inclusive strategies that meet the diverse learning needs of students with SEN.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and support to individuals or small groups of students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct assessments to identify students with SEN and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SEN team and parents.
  • Work closely with parents, teachers, and external specialists to create a collaborative support network for students with SEN.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and accommodations to address diverse learning needs.
  • Stay updated on best practices, research, and advancements in the field of special education and inclusion.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity and promotes a sense of belonging for all students.

Skills

The successful candidate will have:

  • B.Ed. /M.Ed. in Special Education
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • The ability to share your outstanding practice
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
  • Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
  • A proven track record of providing outstanding teaching and learning
  • An aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
