Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in retail, preferably in visual merchandising or sales, to understand store operations and how displays influence purchasing decisions.
• Around 6 months to 1 year direct experience assisting in visual merchandising tasks, such as setting up displays and following planograms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with maintenance and cleaning staff to uphold visual standards of the store/department.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on maintaining visual standards and brand image.
• Propose changes to improve the shopping experience and maximize sales potential.
• Make recommendations based on customer feedback and sales data.
• Communicate deviations or challenges to the Visual Merchandiser for resolution.
• Ensure brand identity and presentation standards in windows and in-store are achieved by creating eye-catching displays.
• Coordinate store displays in line with brand guidelines and strategy.
• Develop floor plans and maximize visual impact.
• Arrange merchandise, signage, fixtures and in-store layout guide.
• Take photographs of every change done in the merchandise display.
• Use creative lighting for windows and maximize placement of new lines.
• Create layout of the store by category and ensure proper merchandising of items.
• Collect reviews and feedback of the merchandise.
