Key Accountabilities
Operations
- Perform and comply with all Sephora policies and procedures.
- Prepare and track all in and outbound shipping and follow up on transfers and returns of the store.
- Function as Lead of the shipment process ensuring the most efficient receipt of product and supplies.
- Follow Sephora visual and merchandising standards and maintain safety standards.
- Report zone needs (defective/damaged merchandise/fixtures/equipment) to the external or internal client and to Specialist or Manager in-charge.
- Manage deep cleaning programs and obsolete areas on the shop floor and storage rooms.
- Check all products and communicate missing products to Supply Chain and store in-charge.
- Maintain, organize and modify storage rooms as needed.
- Communicate inventory issues/concerns to Supervisors/Store Manager.
- Be aware and assist with special events/animations within the store.
- Assist in reducing company’s expense but not at the cost of client service and cleanliness.
- Controlling the store stationary.
- Update of all audit files on the store shared folder in line with the Backoffice Management guidelines.
- Weekly stock count on negative SKU’s.
- Clearing of demarked items on a weekly basis.
- Clearing of damaged items and maintaining shrinkage report on a monthly basis.
- Ordering the correct quantity of supplies based on the requirements provided.
- Participate in programs to reduce shortage, loss, and inventory control.
- Organize stock supplies, testers, samples, and product assortment
- Thorough knowledge of store layout.
- Liaise with security and helpers’ companies on performance
- Oversee execution of updates for all products per company standards.
- Product assortment in line with BOM guidelines.
- Monitor and observe the helpers and security and feedback to management.
- Assist with all stock management KPIs when needed (Audit, BOM, Stock take, etc.).
- Operate HHT (Handheld Terminal) machine in receiving deliveries/ transfer in.
Store Presentation
- Maintain Sephora’s visual and merchandising standards at in-line with the Category Management team.
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within assigned zone, drawers and shelves.
- Assist in maintaining standards of safety and hygiene of the shop floor and back office.
- Assist in the maintenance of store’s animation and events in accordance with Offer team.
- Make sure that items are priced correctly on the shop floor.
- Complete tasks and daily checklist with the security.
- Maintain the store’s ambiance.
Client Experience
- Follow Sephora Attitude when present on the shop floor.
- Ensure the client’s satisfaction, even in difficult situations, turning to the management team when necessary.
- Demonstrate intermediate product knowledge across all categories and brands.
Education
- Assist in training new joiners (head office/retail) in Sephora to have an overview about operations and the Quality & Recovery Lead.
- Detailed explanation on SIM software and Oracle BI, entailing all the reports.
- Coaching stock team on operational tasks and guide them daily.
Know How
- Keep the knowledge and skills up to date by attending regular training and convention events, either in-class at/with Sephora University, in your store and by connecting and actively using our digital training platform.
- Support and assist all aspects of operations and shop floor where dependent on the business needs.

Experience
- Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in operations.
- Minimum 1 year experience in stock or recovery or quality role.
