As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate daily in-room dining (room service) operations to ensure timely and accurate service
• Lead and support the in-room dining team to deliver five-star hospitality and personalized guest experiences
• Ensure all orders are prepared, checked, and delivered according to hotel standards and within service timelines
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a guest-first attitude
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of trolleys, trays, and service areas
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring
• Work closely with kitchen and housekeeping departments for smooth coordination of orders and service
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure staff are well-informed about menus, dietary requirements, and promotions
• Monitor inventory and assist with requisitions to maintain adequate stock levels
• Ensure accurate billing, check closures, and proper handling of guest payments
• Uphold safety and hygiene regulations in compliance with health and hotel standards

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in in-room dining or restaurant service in a 5-star hotel
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience preferred
• Strong understanding of luxury service standards and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in POS and hotel systems (e.g., MICROS, Opera)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
• Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
• Knowledge of food safety, allergen protocols, and hygiene standards
