Job summary

Hilton in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to deliver memorable hospitality experiences across our restaurant outlets. You will support the head waiter, promote in-house promotions, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

The role requires strong English, accuracy with POS systems, and the ability to manage busy service periods. You will maintain proper etiquette, assist with linen and cutlery, and contribute to a smooth, guest‑focused dining experience in a luxury

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of food and beverage service and alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate cash registers, make change, and balance payments.
• Advanced English writing skills for requisitions, balance sheets and vouchers.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
• Ability to operate a keyboard and POS procedures to pre-check, order and close out a check.
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assists captain or head waiter during service.
• Promotes in-house sales with knowledge of all F&B outlets.
• Knows the daily specials before shift.
• Cleans trolleys and pedestal tables; polishes cutlery.
• Fills sugar, mustard pots, toothpicks and oil & vinegar; supplies linen.
• Follows the daily cleaning plan and restaurant closure procedures.
• Provides high levels of F&B service and guest satisfaction.
• Assists staff during peak periods and reduces waste.
