Job summary

Loba Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Legal Counsel – Real Estate to serve as an assistant legal advisor on all real estate matters across development, investment, asset management and operations. You will support land acquisitions, structuring, development, leasing and asset disposals, including SPA drafting and regulatory interactions.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in a recognised common or civil law jurisdiction.
• 3–5 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience at a leading international or top-tier regional law firm.
• Experience advising on complex real estate transactions and development projects.
• In-house experience within a real estate developer, investor or sovereign-related entity is advantageous.
• Arabic language skills beneficial but not essential.
• Transaction management capability.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced business environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist on land acquisitions, disposals and development opportunities.
• Support on sale and purchase agreements, development agreements and real estate JV arrangements.
• Advise on leasing matters across commercial, residential, retail and mixed-use assets.
• Support asset management teams on tenant matters, lease negotiations and portfolio management issues.
• Review and negotiate property brokerage, management and consultancy agreements.
• Assist in real estate regulatory matters with Abu Dhabi authorities and regulators.
• Coordinate with external counsel on significant transactions and specialist matters.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks for developments and investments.
• Develop and maintain real estate legal templates and internal policies.
• Collaborate with development, investment, asset management and finance teams.
