Job summary

Gulf Orchid Perfume Manufacturing LLC is seeking a proactive, highly organized Legal Executive to manage the company's legal affairs and ensure compliance with UAE laws. You will support all business functions with corporate documents, contracts, and regulatory actions.

The role requires 3–5 years of UAE experience in-house, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and fluency in English. You will liaise with authorities and external counsel to protect the company’s interests.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience in the UAE, preferably in-house.
• Strong understanding of corporate operations, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including distribution, supply, sales, service agreements, and NDAs.
• Review and manage lease agreements, including renewals, amendments, and related obligations.
• Handle legal correspondence, notices, claims, and other corporate legal matters.
• Monitor ongoing legal cases and coordinate with external counsel, providing updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws including Commercial Companies Law, Civil Transactions Law and Labour Law.
• Coordinate with external counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare, review, and maintain corporate legal documents and statutory records.
• Maintain and organize legal records, licenses, and confidential documents.
• Support litigation, arbitration, mediation, and settlement processes.
• Protect and manage IP, trademarks, and brand assets with external counsel.
• Provide legal guidance to internal departments (HR, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Operations).
• Support debt recovery by reviewing overdue accounts and issuing notices.
• Identify legal risks and recommend protective measures.
• Follow regulatory requirements and procedures for UAE operations.
