Job summary

PAX in Dubai seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to support its UAE operations. This hands-on in-house role covers commercial contracting, employment compliance, corporate governance, IP, regulatory matters and dispute resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of UAE legal experience.
• In-house UAE/Middle East experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE commercial contracts and agency regulations.
• Experience with dispute resolution, regulatory filings and IP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate English commercial agreements including distribution, agency, reseller and service contracts.
• Advise on UAE Commercial Agencies Law, distribution structures and termination rights.
• Support HR on UAE Labour Law and employment contracts and compliance.
• Coordinate corporate governance, licences, board resolutions and regulatory filings.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice on operations, marketing and product compliance.
• Manage IP portfolio including trademarks, licensing and brand protection.
• Oversee disputes, settlements and liaise with external counsel.
