Job summary

Atribs Metscon Group in Dubai seeks a senior finance professional to lead statutory reporting and IFRS compliance across the group. You will review stand-alone and group financial statements, ensure accuracy, and liaise with external auditors to resolve queries.

The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP experience (Oracle preferred), and the ability to meet multiple reporting deadlines. Candidates should have 5–7 years in statutory reporting or related finance roles, with Big 4 experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review standalone financial statements and disclosures for IFRS compliance.
• Review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and group policies.
• Review and challenge reporting submissions for consistency and accuracy.
• Support review of group reporting packages and consolidation schedules.
• Liaise with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve audit queries.
• Identify issues and provide remediation recommendations.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess impact on reporting.
• Drive improvements in statutory reporting processes, controls, and governance.
• Ensure timely completion and submission of statutory filings and reports.
