Job summary

Finance Manager in Abu Dhabi UAE is responsible for owning IFRS accounting for acquisitions, disposals and business combinations across the portfolio. You will prepare financial statements and consolidations for the company and its investments.

You will advise leadership on accounting impacts of new deals from structuring through to completion, manage technical accounting for energy-sector investments and other complex transactions, and write authoritative position papers for external auditors.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of work experience in similar roles and industry.
• Strong, practical IFRS knowledge with hands-on acquisitions/M&A accounting.
• Background in Big Four audit or advisory, or finance within investment/PE/holding environments.

Responsibilities

• Own IFRS accounting for acquisitions, disposals and business combinations across the portfolio.
• Prepare and review financial statements and consolidations for the company and its investments.
• Advise leadership on accounting impact of new deals from structuring through to completion.
• Handle technical accounting behind energy-sector investments and other complex transactions.
• Write clear accounting position papers and act as main contact for external auditors.
• Help shape, recruit and onboard the finance team as it grows.
