Job summary

Aspen Pharma Group in the UAE seeks a General Accountant to ensure IFRS-compliant financial reporting and accurate ERP postings in SAP. The role covers payroll coordination, intercompany reconciliations, and timely monthly statements and variance analyses.

This position emphasizes robust MIS reporting, SOP updates, and driving process improvements through automation and best practices across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Exposure to intercompany accounting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP) and reporting tools (Cognos/Power BI/TM1).

Responsibilities

• Post accounting transactions in SAP in IFRS compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, OPEX) with variance analysis.
• Support month-end close, including accruals and finalization within timelines.
• Perform reconciliations and provide financial insights for decision-making.
• Assist audits and update accounting SOPs and WOW.
