Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an IT IDC Operations Technician to perform data center O&M tasks, troubleshoot server faults, and coordinate vendor repairs. The role covers basic cabling, network equipment deployment, and routine IDC inspections, requiring strong communication and teamwork within a global IT environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of on-site IDC experience, an IT or Computer Engineering background, and familiarity with server brands and fiber optics.

Qualifications

• Education: Full-time associate degree or higher in IT or Computer Engineering.
• Work Experience: 1 year of on-site IDC operations and maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Data Center O&M tasks per SOPs while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Handle server faults within the IDC and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Network equipment O&M and basic cabling support within the IDC.
• IDC routine inspections and anomaly reporting to IT leadership.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility 1: Data Center Operations and Maintenance Execution.
• Description: Perform data center O&M tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Execute on-site operational tasks based on work orders and business requirements.
• Responsibility 2: Server Fault Handling and Vendor-Coordinated Repairs.
• Description: Handle server faults within the IDC and coordinate repairs with vendors.
• Perform maintenance on Alibaba-maintained servers.
• Responsibility 3: Network Equipment O&M and Basic Cabling Support.
• Description: Handle network equipment commissioning, routine network troubleshooting, and minor cabling tasks within the IDC.
• Manage the on-site deployment and repair of network equipment.
• Responsibility 4: IDC Routine Inspections and Anomaly Reporting.
• Description: Conduct routine inspections within the IDC and promptly report any issues to the IT Team Leader or IDC Service Operations Manager.
• Carry out routine IDC inspections.

• Ability to rapidly diagnose system, hardware, and network faults; adept at flexible problem-solving.
