I am urgently seeking an ICT teacher to join my client in Sharjah. The school, established in 2002, offers the IB Curriculum and the USA Common Core to predominantly Emirati students, with about 30% expatriates.

The school hours are from 7 am to 3 pm, with mandatory CPD sessions on Tuesdays.

Salary Package

• Salary range, based on experience and qualifications: AED 12,100 to 15,675 per month

The school campus is approximately 30 minutes into Sharjah, with accommodation next to the school. Dubai city center is about 45 minutes away. The campus is modern with advanced technology, primarily staffed by Western-trained professionals from countries like the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, and others.

ICT Teacher Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in ICT or related field
• Valid state teaching license in ICT
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience
• Arabic language skills are a plus but not required
• Western-trained
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
• Experience with ITGS is advantageous
• Experience teaching ICT in the Middle East preferred
• Elementary teachers need an Elementary Education license/certification
• Minimum of 2 years teaching if holding a B.Ed.; 4 years if holding a Bachelor's in secondary education content area
• Meet highly qualified standards per US regulations
• Two confidential letters of recommendation
• Strong knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and assessment strategies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Standards-Based teaching and assessment
• Student-centered instructional approach
• Ability to use assessment data for differentiated instruction
• Technologically proficient in classroom management and instruction
• Culturally aware of UAE norms
