PYP Teachers needed in the United Arab Emirates | International Baccalaureate | Teach Abroad

I am seeking qualified and experienced PYP Teachers to join my client. The client has campuses based in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Al Ain. It is a well-established group of schools that are among the leading private national schools in the United Arab Emirates.

The school promotes a 21st-century learning model, encouraging curiosity and hands-on learning environments. They are looking for dynamic, hardworking, and passionate teachers who are committed to teaching young students. Experience working in the UAE is beneficial for understanding the local Emirati culture.

The campuses feature world-class facilities including Olympic-sized swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnasium, basketball courts, ICT suites, science labs, libraries, theatres, and auditoriums. Modern technology such as projectors and interactive whiteboards is available, and teachers are expected to be tech-savvy, proficient in MS Teams, Zoom, and the MS Office suite.

We are also seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian familiar with the IB curriculum and the needs of PYP, MYP, and DP programs. The school is part of an established group across the UAE.

Requirements to apply

• M.Ed. in Primary/Elementary preferred
• At least two years of full-time experience as an elementary teacher
• Trained from a recognized university

Primary Teacher Responsibilities

• Create engaging and fun lesson plans

• Decorate classrooms to foster a positive learning environment
• Encourage independent learning and peer engagement
• Maintain excellent classroom management
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, staff briefings, and departmental meetings
• Attend IB PYP CPD training sessions
• Work independently and collaboratively

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: AED 10,000 to AED 15,750 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

International experience is a plus, and IB curriculum experience is beneficial but training will be provided.
