Job summary

GEMS World Academy Abu Dhabi is seeking experienced Primary Teachers to join from August 2026 with an immediate start. The role focuses on delivering inclusive teaching within the IB and British curricula, backed by a data-driven approach to monitor progress and plan targeted interventions.

You will collaborate with subject teams, foster an IB-aligned classroom, and engage with parents to support holistic student development. A relevant PGCE/PGDE and IB experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with IB philosophy and Approaches to Teaching and Learning.
• Strong communication, collaboration and organisational skills.
• Experience in IB or British curriculum contexts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that supports diverse learners within IB and British frameworks.
• Collaborate with subject teachers to design strategies for access, progress and achievement.
• Use data to monitor progress and plan targeted interventions.
• Foster a positive classroom aligned with IB Learner Profile and GEMS values.
• Contribute to inclusive practices across the school and engage with parents.
