IB MYP English Language and Literature Teacher - Dubai - January 2023

I am looking for a qualified IB MYP English teacher to join my client in Dubai. The client is a leading IB school serving a European student population located on the outskirts of Dubai. The school seeks a native English speaker with experience delivering the International Baccalaureate curriculum at both the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. Students come from diverse European backgrounds, primarily speaking German, English, or French.

As an English teacher, you should encourage student engagement and critical thinking during lessons to foster independent learning. Experience with the IB Framework or UK A level is preferred.

English Teacher Requirements:

• Fully qualified and experienced teacher with a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in English
• Professional teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent certification in English
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably in an IB school
• Proven track record of success
• Proficiency in a second language such as French, Arabic, or English is highly valued
• Previous international teaching experience is preferred
