Qualifications

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level in English (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of secondary English teaching experience, ideally in an IB Curriculum School.
• Experience with MYP and DP is preferred but not essential.
• Passion for inspiring learners through innovative and inquiry-based teaching.
• Willingness to grow professionally and contribute to a collaborative community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based English lessons.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• Differentiate instruction for EAL, gifted, and other learners.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning and engagement.
• Assess and communicate student progress with data-informed guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design IB-aligned curriculum plans and assessments.
• Contribute to school life through cocurricular activities and events.
• Build strong relationships with parents and the school community.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and reflection.
