JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary

Provide high-level technical support related to Wireline fabrication/assembly, including maintenance and overhaul of valves, flow lines, and CT & Wireline Pressure control equipment, working according to written job instructions, quality system, and health and safety policies.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare the goods checklist after visual inspections of the received goods.
2. Carry out visual inspections as per standard procedures.
3. Communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
4. Liaise with Supervisor to ensure timely completion of jobs.
5. Be familiar with NOV products and fully conversant with their assembly and disassembly.
6. Proficient in the use of all components, equipment, tools, and techniques used in a mechanical/hydraulic workshop.
7. Coordinate fabrication/welding activities with subcontractors if required.
8. Have knowledge of pumps, valves, and common connections along with system requirements.
9. Ensure NOV products are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
10. Duly fill out timesheets and work in an orderly and timely manner.
11. Maintain good upkeep of company equipment, report losses or breakages, and keep items locked when not in use.
12. Represent the organization responsibly and professionally.
13. Engage in any other activities as requested by the department supervisor.
14. Follow and lead by example on all safety procedures.
15. Comply with all applicable HSE requirements.
16. Maintain and plan activities according to quality requirements, standards, and work instructions.
17. Ensure pressure test equipment is calibrated prior to use.
18. Carry out duties in a timely and controlled manner, complying with health and safety regulations.
19. Exercise care of company and client properties.
20. Maintain confidentiality of company and client affairs.
21. Keep work areas clean, reflecting professionalism and quality.
22. Strive for continual improvement in all aspects of company activities.
