Job description

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

Planning and Organising:

  • Perform corrective maintenance on HVAC systems as required and make recommendations to management on improvements.
  • Advise immediate senior of day-to-day problems.
  • Follow up on all purchase requests as required by the Engineering department policy.
  • Provide committed and professional support to all other departments at all times.

Maintenance:

  • Maintain repairs, make adjustments, and perform routine and planned maintenance on HVAC systems, including maintaining compressors, traps, thermostats, filters, fans, and guest room FCUs. Fill in plant logs as per instructions.
  • Carry out adjustments to compressors, logs, and readings while on duty.
  • Maintain and repair all refrigeration equipment in kitchens, rooms, and outlets.
  • Carry out PPM (Preventive Planned Maintenance) for all HVAC equipment as scheduled by management.
