Job summary

NMC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced HVAC maintenance technician to uphold log books, service AHUs/FCUs, and perform routine and preventive maintenance. The role requires regular upkeep of filters and belts, with involvement in long-term system improvements.

Applicants should have a Diploma/Graduate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, 3+ years of field experience, and fluency in English. Arabic is advantageous but not essential. On-site position in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifications

• Diploma/graduate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• At least three years of experience in the field.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic language is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain A/C log books.
• Clean the filters regularly.
• Maintain AHUs, FCUs, deep freezers, split A/Cs, etc.
• Carry out routine / breakdown maintenance.
• Contribute to long-term planning for system improvements.
• Change the filters yearly.
• Check the belts of the AHUs.
• Service split A/Cs and AHUs.
• Take stock of items and inform maintenance in charge to arrange materials.
• Convey day-to-day problems to maintenance in charge.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on all A/C equipment.
• Carry out any related work as assigned by the supervisor.

5. To actively involve in evolving long term planning for improvement in the system.
6. Change the filters yearly.

8. To do servicing of split A/Cs and AHUs.
9. To take stock of the items and inform the maintenance in charge to arrange for necessary material(s).
10. To convey day to day problems/issues to the maintenance in charge.
11. To carry out necessary preventive maintenance on all A/C equipments.
12. To perform any related job / work when assigned by the superior.

Qualifications
