Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dubai seeks an HVAC Project Specialist to support site implementation, servicing, retrofit, testing and commissioning of HVAC systems. You will coordinate people, parts, reports and customer communication to ensure timely, well-documented handovers.

You will build strong customer relationships, coordinate site activities, and track preventive maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
• 0-1 year of experience, including internship experience, in Mechanical or HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Result-oriented, tenacious, self-motivated and customer focused.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in business analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt working style to different stakeholders.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Good analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the delivery of HVAC service and retrofit work.
• Coordinate site activities between customers, subcontractors, supervisors, field teams and office teams.
• Track and support scheduled planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Drive assigned L&M and POC jobs, including testing and commissioning, and provide timely progress updates.
• Prepare and submit job progress, completion and invoicing support reports to the office team on time.
• Follow up on billing for completed jobs and ensure parts and materials are ordered and delivered as planned.
• Support system operation training and prepare handover documentation for customers.
• Help resolve site-related issues promptly while maintaining a safe and well-controlled work environment.
