Job summary

TIS GmbH seeks an experienced HVAC Lead Inspector for a 2 GW HVDC offshore converter platform project. You will act as Client/Owner's Representative, overseeing HVAC scope from verification to offshore commissioning with Dubai yard and international subcontractors.

Responsibilities include FAT witnessing, QA/QC surveillance, and ensuring compliance with EN/ISO standards. Expected relocation/travel across Dubai, Berlin, and international sites for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in HVAC / building services or mechanical engineering
• Minimum 8 years in QA/QC inspection, testing or commissioning of HVAC systems, offshore/marine
• Proven experience witnessing HVAC equipment FATs and ductwork tests
• Experience as Lead Inspector or Client Representative on offshore projects
• Fluent English, C1 level (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Review contractor evidence against Employer's Requirements and verify status
• Comment on contractor documents including ITPs, FAT procedures and ductwork tests
• Define hold/witness/monitoring points and maintain inspection registers
• Witness HVAC FATs and commissioning tests on equipment such as AHUs, chillers, and fans
• Conduct offshore surveillance and verify documentation and certifications
• Prepare inspection reports with KPIs and report safety non-conformities
