The Role of the HVAC & Kitchen Technician:

We are offering an opportunity for a HVAC & Kitchen Technician to join a new takeover project in the UAE: Al Zorah Beach Resorts in Ajman, UAE. This project is embarking on an inspiring transformation journey, culminating in the grand opening of Four Seasons Resort Ajman at Al Zorah in late 2026.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:

The candidate should have detailed knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), including operation, basic programming, alarm handling, and scheduled maintenance. A strong technical understanding of HVAC equipment, chilled water systems, and commercial kitchen appliances is essential. Familiarity with HACCP compliance, food safety standards, and hospitality engineering best practices is required. Flexibility to work in shifts, respond promptly to emergencies, and maintain professional communication is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

HVAC Systems – Water-Cooled

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot central chilled water systems, including chillers, cooling towers, circulation pumps, and related components.
  • Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance of FCUs, AHUs, FAHUs, exhausts, and ventilation systems across guest rooms, BOH, and public areas.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of BMS, including fault diagnosis, parameter adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain logs of refrigerants, pressures, coil performance, and optimize systems for energy savings and guest comfort.

Commercial Kitchen Equipment – HACCP Compliant

  • Maintain and troubleshoot kitchen equipment such as combi ovens, dishwashers, cold rooms, fryers, hot ranges, and walk-in chillers/freezers.
  • Experience with microprocessor-controlled gas, electric, and refrigeration kitchen equipment is required.
  • Calibrate sensors, thermostats, and control panels per HACCP and food safety protocols.
  • Ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime through preventive and reactive maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or ITI certification in HVAC, Mechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering.
  • 5-6 years of hands-on experience in HVAC and kitchen systems in a five-star luxury hotel in the UAE.
