Job summary

Hirestar Talent Consulting LLC seeks an Electrical Site Supervision Engineer to oversee transmission substation equipment, including gas insulated switchgear (132kV/400kV) and transformers (132/11kV, 400/132kV). You will validate designs, review as-built drawings, and ensure quality and safety on site.

The role requires 5–7 years of HV experience, problem solving, and strong technical report writing abilities to coordinate with stakeholders and manage site activities.

Qualifications

• Problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in technical report writing.
• Knowledge in International Standards (IEEE IEC BS).

Responsibilities

• Perform site activities for Transmission power substation equipment such as Gas insulated switchgear rated 132kV & 400kV and transformers rated 132/11kV & 400/132kV.
• Validate approved design drawings and review As-built drawings.
• Maintain the overall quality of transmission equipment by resolving conflicts during site activities and reporting non-conformities to line manager.
• Follow OH&S Management System Manual as per DEWA's safety standards.
• Follow up with stakeholders for rectification and ensure testing activities align with approved test forms.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the reporting line manager.
