Job summary

Durucooperation seeks an experienced HV Engineer – ESF to support the execution, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of high‑voltage transmission systems in the UAE. You will ensure compliance with Transco standards, IEC/IEEE standards, and utility regulations while delivering safe, reliable electrical infrastructure.

Reporting to the project leadership, you will supervise HV transmission activities, review technical documentation, coordinate with clients and teams, and uphold HSE

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years in High Voltage Transmission projects.
• At least 3 years Oil & Gas project experience.
• Hands-on experience in Transco Transmission projects.
• Experience with HV substations, transmission lines, testing, commissioning, maintenance.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and utility regulations.
• UAE Driving License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise HV transmission projects, including installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Transco standards, IEC/IEEE standards, utility regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, method statements, technical documentation, and project schedules.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, fault analysis, and preventive maintenance of HV substations and transmission systems.
• Monitor project progress while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and project timelines.
• Prepare commissioning reports, technical documentation, progress reports, and project records.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies and industry best practices throughout project execution.

• 5–10 years of experience in High Voltage Transmission projects.
• Minimum 3 years of Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Transco Transmission projects.
• Strong experience with HV substations, transmission lines, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Sound knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards, utility regulations, and electrical safety practices.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
