Position Title: Human Resources Specialist

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Jawar Al Khaleej, a leading provider of marine and offshore services across the region, is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Department in Dubai. This is a comprehensive HR Generalist role, encompassing recruitment, payroll, employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation.

We are looking for a people-driven professional who brings energy, structure, and a genuine passion for people and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding for technical and non-technical roles across the company.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and ensure timely fulfillment of vacancies.
  • Maintain a strong talent pipeline and build the company’s employer brand through professional engagement.
  • Oversee the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, contract administration, payroll inputs, leave management, and exit procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law and internal HR policies.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
  • Implement and update HR policies, SOPs, and procedures in line with best practices.
  • Manage the performance management cycle, facilitate performance appraisals, and support continuous feedback culture.
  • Assist with HR audits, internal reports, and data analytics.
  • Support initiatives related to organizational development, employee engagement, and culture-building programs.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of HR Generalist experience, with proven expertise in recruitment, payroll, and employee relations within the UAE.
  • Solid understanding and application of UAE Labor Law and compliance regulations.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment cycle, including high-volume or specialized hiring.
  • Proficient in HRMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must possess a valid UAE driving license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications (CIPD, SHRM) are a plus.
