Job Overview:

HR Officer who will play a pivotal role in our Human Resources department by ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new employees and managing key HR functions that contribute to employee happiness and engagement. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the onboarding and induction process, facilitating employee orientation, processing employment visas, and executing HR-related events and activities. The HR Officer will act as a key point of contact for new hires and contribute to the overall success of the HR objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Induction:

  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the new joiner’s induction and orientation programs, including departmental orientation and job responsibilities.
  • Manage and carry out joining formalities for both full-time and part-time employees.
  • Provide necessary documentation and support to new hires, ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal regulations.

Employee Orientation & Visa Coordination:

  • Organize and implement employee orientation sessions, introducing new hires to company culture, values, and policies.
  • Assist in processing and coordinating the employment visa application process for new and existing employees.
  • Act as the point of contact for employees regarding visa-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with labor laws and immigration requirements.

Employee Happiness & HR Support:

  • Foster a positive and supportive environment, ensuring employee satisfaction through timely resolution of HR-related queries.
  • Assist in implementing employee engagement activities that promote happiness and motivation.
  • Work collaboratively with other HR team members to meet HR objectives and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Atleast 3 to 4 years of experience managing onboarding & visa process coordination.
  • HR certification (such as CIPD, PHR, or SHRM) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in an HR function, preferably in onboarding, orientation, or employee relations.
  • Previous exposure to visa processing and legal compliance in an HR context is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees and external parties.
