Job Purpose
Plans and directs Human Resources support within assigned business streams to include sourcing of talent, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and diversity. The HR Manager performs advanced professional work advising Business units on the application of employment, benefits, and workers' compensation laws and regulations, as well as ENOC's employment policies. Functions as a member of the Integrated HR operations team, providing consultative services in assessing HR needs and planning/implementing HR projects to maximize organizational effectiveness.
In addition, the position involves coaching and counseling managers at all levels in employment regulations, performance management, organizational design and alignment, and national development.
Principal Accountabilities
- Serve as counsel and strategic business partner for business heads within the assigned segment, working with managers to manage HR needs.
- Plan, manage, and improve all aspects of the client organization and leadership review process, focusing on performance management and talent development through annual and mid-year reviews.
- Identify and manage staffing requirements aligned with organizational goals, ensuring efficient and economical processes to attract top talent.
- Guide and coach managers on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies and labor laws, and lead conflict resolution efforts.
- Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs at the functional level.
- Partner with the business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment; analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with Learning and Training groups to identify and implement training and organizational development initiatives.
- Work with Compensation to set up market-based pay structures, ensure job descriptions are current and evaluated, and communicate outcomes to relevant personnel. Participate as a member of the job evaluation panel.
- Manage HR communications to ensure timely access to information across locations and levels.
- Provide employee relations counsel to managers regarding disciplinary procedures, ensuring consistent and respectful application, consulting legal counsel as needed.
- Track HR metrics monthly to improve HR deliverables and promote ROL (Return on Learning).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; CIPD certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of HR generalist experience, including recruitment, compensation, employment law, and employee relations.
- Expertise in recruitment, staffing, employee relations, and staff development.
- Experience in assessing and implementing HR systems like performance management, succession planning, and employee surveys.
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of handling sensitive and confidential issues.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Oracle HRMS; SAP HCM exposure is preferred.
