Job Overview:
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will collaborate with leadership and department heads to align business objectives with HR initiatives. You will be a strategic partner in driving HR programs, talent management, employee relations, and performance management. You will contribute to shaping the culture and business growth by providing support on people-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Work closely with senior leaders to understand the business needs and provide tailored HR support to help achieve organizational goals.
- Analyze workforce trends and provide insights to influence decision-making and business strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to management on HR-related matters.
Talent Management:
- Partner with business leaders to assess talent gaps and contribute to workforce planning.
- Lead initiatives in talent acquisition, employee development, and retention.
- Support leadership in performance management processes, including setting goals, providing feedback, and managing performance issues.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee relations concerns and foster a positive work environment.
- Act as a mediator in conflict resolution and advise on disciplinary actions.
- Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion within the organization.
Change Management:
- Lead and support organizational change efforts in collaboration with leadership, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Provide guidance on managing resistance and adapting to change.
HR Compliance & Policy:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Update and implement HR policies as needed, and provide advice on legal compliance issues.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Leverage HR data to track key metrics like turnover, retention, employee engagement, and performance.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in an HR business partner or generalist role.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational development, talent management, and employee relations.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of the company’s operations and how HR contributes to business success.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decisions and strategies.
