Job description

The job holder is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the People Strategy through strategic partnerships with business stakeholders and the HR team, ensuring the delivery of impactful and effective HR solutions. They will also oversee the efficient daily operations of the HRBP function, providing support on people management, development strategies, initiatives, and addressing HR-related challenges.

A thorough understanding of the Company’s HR policies and procedures is essential, along with staying up to date on best practices. In addition, a solid grasp of relevant provisions and sections of the UAE Labour Law is required to support the Line Manager in effectively resolving HR matters.

Key Result Areas

  1. Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritise and build organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes.
  2. Develop the annual HR Plan in partnership with the business and HR functions, ensuring cross collaboration and support is given in achieving the plan.
  3. To manage high profile Stakeholders in Operations, Production & Service and Corporate areas and the HRBP function in delivering organisational design, annual manpower budgets, and business case proposals through clear communication plans and effective stakeholder management.
  4. Provide business insights in alignment with stakeholders to ensure all solutions proposed via the HRBP function are tailored to address business needs (e.g. structure vs cultural change required).
  5. Measure and understand success of HR policies and procedures in the business to ensure that concerned HR functions are updated based on business needs and changes.
  6. Support change management as it relates to structures, teams and people processes through professional project management and ensure to review the success of change initiatives to validate the business impact.
  7. Support the development and promote ongoing feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of the employee experience. This includes reviewing and benchmarking effective channels of communication for the employee group, supporting leaders to improve communication with their people.
  8. Lead the definition of talent needs and company succession planning to forecast and plan workforce and talent requirements in line with the function or business strategy.
  9. Support the definition and drive improvements in performance culture in line with corporate principles, work with leaders to translate department strategic goals into meaningful outputs that contribute to business results.
  10. Lead all people related recognition scheme creation and implementation to motivate and reward high performers, fostering a culture of appreciation and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or HR
  • CIPD is desirable.

Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience leading HR business partner strategies and managing the provision of services related to performance management, employee engagement, and change management.
  • Experience gained within a large organisation and must have led a team overseeing a range of HR initiatives and services.
