As the HR Manager, he/she will be a key driver of the organization's Human Resources functions in Dubai and also oversee HR matters in Abu Dhabi. This role plays a crucial part in fostering a positive and productive work environment. The HR Manager should leverage their expertise in HR best practices to lead initiatives for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. With a focus on strategic HR management, the HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
Responsible to/Report to: Head of Human Resources & Administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries and concerns, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
- Implement and execute the company's policies and procedures.
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Generate and produce HR reports for management.
- Perform any other HR matters assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or similar disciplines.
- 10 years of experience in the HR industry in a similar role and capacity.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and local languages.
- Proficient in Google Docs, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant software applications.
- Able to cope in a high-intensity and fast-paced work environment.
- Candidates from shared service or MNC backgrounds are preferred.
