Job description

As the HR Manager, he/she will be a key driver of the organization's Human Resources functions in Dubai and also oversee HR matters in Abu Dhabi. This role plays a crucial part in fostering a positive and productive work environment. The HR Manager should leverage their expertise in HR best practices to lead initiatives for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. With a focus on strategic HR management, the HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Responsible to/Report to: Head of Human Resources & Administration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees, addressing inquiries and concerns, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and retention.
  • Implement and execute the company's policies and procedures.
  • Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Generate and produce HR reports for management.
  • Perform any other HR matters assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or similar disciplines.
  • 10 years of experience in the HR industry in a similar role and capacity.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English and local languages.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and other relevant software applications.
  • Able to cope in a high-intensity and fast-paced work environment.
  • Candidates from shared service or MNC backgrounds are preferred.
