Human Resources Manager, Abu Dhabi

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that best practice is maintained at all times and to manage the implementation and maintenance of HR programmes, policies, and procedures in support of the business objectives.

Key duties include:

1. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with business partners by being a trusted advisor and partner.
2. Advising and working with the business to understand and proactively address HR issues such as employee relations, including investigations, complaints, and enquiries.
3. Supporting senior management in retention and succession planning.
4. Advising and counseling the Abu Dhabi business on the interpretation of policies and procedures.
5. Maintaining close contact with Project Leaders by attending regular HR visits.
6. Evaluating the effectiveness of current HR programmes and policies, then recommending and developing alternatives or enhancements to ensure HR best practice is maintained.
7. Advising on local employment legislation.
8. Managing all HR Programmes including onboarding, performance management, and conflict resolution.
9. Utilising AECOM's defined compensation model to evaluate and map employees correctly for career pathing.
10. Leading the performance management process.
11. Promoting a qualified and diverse workforce.
12. Ensuring employee records and HR metrics reports are always up to date.
13. Supporting the COE Leads in HR to deliver AECOM's vision and goals.
14. Providing leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the Abu Dhabi Human Resources Team.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least seven years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably within a global engineering or professional services organization.
• Minimum of two years relevant experience working in the Middle East in a similar capacity.
• Degree qualification from an internationally accredited university in Human Resources, Law, or a related field, with CIPD or equivalent certification.
