A Human Resources & Learning and Development Executive coordinates and implements department activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management.

What will I be doing?

The Human Resources & Learning and Development Executive coordinates and implements department activities and projects, as assigned. Provides clerical and office support and assistance to department management. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Coordinate projects and activities, providing clerical and office support to department management.
  • Maintain communication with departments involved in assigned projects/activities.
  • Answer telephone calls and assist internal and external guests with requests.
  • Write correspondence on behalf of the department.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive work environment and addressing issues promptly and confidentially.
  • Assist with various requests as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws and Hilton's internal policies, maintain accurate employee records, and handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Follow emergency procedures as needed.
  • Assist in managing payroll processes, employee benefits, and recognition programs to support team satisfaction and retention.
  • Maintain good working relationships with other departments, employees, and guests.
What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service internally and externally.
  • Proven experience in human resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Flexibility to respond to various work situations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong computer skills, including basic graphic design for poster creation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in delivering or coordinating employee training and development programs is preferred.

It would be advantageous to demonstrate knowledge of hospitality in this position.
