Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Department: Head Office, Middle East, Dubai

Reporting to: Human Resources Business Partner, Middle East

Role Purpose:

The role of the HR Coordinator, is to provide operational and administrative support to the HR department and employees. The HR Coordinator role will be integral in the day to day running of the HR Department as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate collaborative relationships with employees, members of the managerial team, and external partners
  • Ensure employees understand policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across the business
  • Seek and listen to the feedback from retail colleagues and managers to provide solutions to queries and resolve any issues
  • Drive continuous feedback process and encourage colleagues to participate in periodic surveys to ensure we are providing strong people support and services
  • Engage with the retail team in identifying improvement actions based on feedback
  • To work with the HRBP and undertake/support in a variety of HR projects as required and lead own projects as and when required
  • Work closely with the HRBP and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity
  • Support in employee lifecycle such as recruitment projects and onboarding personnel
  • Maintenance of the HR databases entering all employee information on the portals (processing of new starters, leavers, holiday and absences), ensuring records are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Manage all HR administration related to employee annual and sick leaves
  • Work collaboratively with the wider EMEA HR team to ensure consistency in service and standards
  • Ensure Store Managers are submitting time and attendance data regularly and ensure verification of details on attendance platform
  • Conduct timely visits to all retail locations to meet with employees to ensure HR compliance and provide support when needed
  • Work closely with the HRBP to ensure joined-up activities across the EMEA region.
  • All other ad hoc duties

Competencies and Experience Required:

  • Graduate calibre
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Highly competent user of MS Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written
