About the Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking HR & Administration Officer who is passionate about using modern tools and technology to streamline HR processes, enhance employee experience, and ensure smooth administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in digital HR systems, data-driven decision-making, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all HR services and administrative functions to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to all employees.
  • Develop and oversee the recruitment process, ensuring it aligns with the company’s workforce planning needs.
  • Review employment contracts and coordinate approvals with senior management.
  • Design and implement training and development plans in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and regularly update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks, ensuring alignment with UAE labor laws and company standards.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR, administration, and IT functions, tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Administer and enhance the company’s performance evaluation system, ensuring clear communication of performance expectations and career development opportunities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external HR and administrative matters, including relations with government authorities, vendors, and service providers.
  • Oversee local purchasing and ensure cost-efficient and timely procurement for office supplies and administrative needs.
  • Ensure effective management of office facilities and ensure front desk and support staff deliver professional service.
  • Lead HR analytics initiatives, using data to support decision-making and improve workforce planning and employee retention.
  • Handle employee relations issues professionally, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, including surveys, recognition programs, and regular feedback sessions.
  • Regularly update and improve HR digital tools (HRMS) to optimize employee records, payroll processes, and performance tracking.
  • Inspire, motivate, and mentor HR and administrative team members, setting a professional example.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management to support organizational goals.

  • Percentage of timely completed employee appraisals.
  • Annual employee turnover rate.
  • Percentage of completed training plans versus targets.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR and administration, ideally in a retail, multi-location, or fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience with modern HR software (such as Zoho People or similar HRMS platforms).
Skills
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proficient in using HR technology for recruitment, payroll, performance management, and workforce analytics.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a focus on process optimization.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
